Skewbald Heavy Horse in Harness

Celebrate the immense power and quiet dignity of the traditional heavy horse, reimagined through a lens of unapologetic, modern colour. This striking piece commands attention, bridging the gap between classic equine conformation and contemporary vibrancy.

Set against a brilliant, saturated ochre background, a magnificent chestnut draught horse stands squarely in its working harness. Thick, painterly strokes define the heavy feathering of its legs and the broad white blaze across its expressive face. Unexpected, bold highlights of teal, mint green, and pale blue dance across the shadows of the horse's grey hooves and sturdy frame, creating a dynamic visual friction against the warm canvas.

A spectacular focal point for a modern living room or a spacious yard office, this bold artwork makes an unforgettable gift for lovers of majestic working breeds. Available as a classic Print, Canvas, or Framed Canvas in versatile 40cm, 70cm, and 90cm sizes, it looks particularly striking in a black frame to ground the explosive colour palette.
