Expressive Horse and Boy Study

The quiet magnetism between horse and human begins long before the first ride. This striking contemporary piece captures that magical, silent dialogue, where a towering equine lowers its head in gentle acknowledgement of a young child.

Rendered in an expressive, spontaneous style, the composition emerges from frantic, wiry black lines that form the solid shapes of boy and beast. Earthy watercolour washes of sage green and warm terracotta pool within the loose boundaries, whilst a delicate, vivid red line visually tethers the two figures together, symbolising their invisible bond against the crisp white space.

A beautiful addition to a modern living room, hallway, or a young rider's bedroom, this artwork makes a deeply touching gift. Available in 40cm, 70cm, or 90cm sizes, it translates beautifully as a classic Print or Canvas. Choose a Framed Print or Framed Canvas in black, white, or natural to perfectly complement the energetic linework.
