Showjumper in Sepia Ink Wash

The thrilling suspension of a flawless leap is captured in a single, breathless moment. True showjumping athleticism is defined by the bascule—that powerful, rounded arc over the timber, with knees snapped tight and ears pricked forward.

Rendered in rich washes of sepia and warm umber, the artwork pulses with expressive movement. Sharp, dark linework defines the rider's secure forward seat and the horse's muscular tension, while sweeping colour blocks and spontaneous ink drips add a raw, dynamic energy. The clever use of negative space highlights the brilliant white of the rider's breeches and saddle pad against the earthy background.

A sophisticated addition to an equestrian study, modern living room, or stylish tack room. Available as a premium Print, Canvas, or Framed option in 40cm, 70cm, and 90cm sizes, this piece makes an exceptional gift for any dedicated showjumper or eventer. Choose a black frame to anchor the dark linework, or a natural finish to complement the warm tones.
