Grey Horse and Resting Rider

A profound quiet settles in the aftermath of a long ride. This expressive piece captures the intimate, unspoken bond between rider and mount, finding shared stillness in a fleeting moment of rest.

Defined by bold, textured brushwork, the composition uses a cool palette of pale greys and frosty blues. The horse stands softly with its head lowered beside the seated rider, loose reins trailing on the floor to highlight their complete trust. Unexpected accents of mint green, ochre, and soft pink are woven into the coat and jacket, adding contemporary vitality to the serene scene.

An exquisite addition to a modern living room, study, or premium tack room, this piece speaks to anyone who cherishes the peaceful side of horsemanship. Available as a print, canvas, or framed piece in 40cm, 70cm, and 90cm sizes. Choose a natural or white frame to perfectly complement the cool pastel tones.
