Bay Horse Drinking Reflection

A moment of perfect stillness, captured in heavy, deliberate brushstrokes. This piece invites a profound sense of calm into the room, freezing a solitary instant where a horse pauses at the water's edge, entirely at peace with its surroundings.

The composition is anchored by a warm, grounded palette of terracotta and ochre, bringing life to the bay's muscular coat. Deep soot-black legs, mane, and tail contrast sharply against the sweeping cream foreground, while the highly textured surface mirrors the horse in a shadowy, elongated reflection. Muted olive greens stretch across the upper canvas, suggesting a quiet, abstract horizon.

An ideal centrepiece for a tranquil study or a minimalist living room, this artwork commands attention in our larger 70cm or 90cm sizes. Available as a classic gallery-wrapped Canvas or a refined Framed Print in black, white, or natural wood, it offers a deeply tactile addition to your home.
